The monitoring system developed for S19 Lublin bypass route consists of two subsystems:
- the first one is a set of sensors for measuring the stretching forces in geosynthetic material built-in the embankment.
- the second system is composed of six In-Place inclinometer chains with a depth of 22 meters each. It's responsible for measuring the horizontal displacement of the embankment construction. Such combination gives a full and clear information about the embankment condition and is very competitive compared to other types of monitoring.
