DEVICE FOR EVALUATION OF DYNAMIC STIFFNESS AND DEGRADATION DEGREE OF THE RAILWAY WITHIN THE TRANSITIONAL ZONES
The transition zone is considered as track section, on which the uneven settlement of the track appears due to the change of its’ rigidity. The measuring set DIAGTOR (patent pending) is used to measure the dynamic deflections of the rail tracks caused by passing trains plus also measures the speed. The test set includes 4 pcs. of electronic displacement sensors along with fastening system to the rail, radar device for measuring the speed of the train and tablet or other portable device with proper software. Analysis of the measurement results is carried out using dedicated software DIAGTOR, installed on the supplied tablet. The software allows to enter operational, structural and geometric data describing the surface and measured dynamic deflections along with the speed of train. Entered data allow to determine longitudinal rail inequalities, track twist, dynamic stiffness of the object and zone, which reflects the current technical state of the object and forecasting its’ behavior in time.
